I’m sure scrolling through all the Paris Fashion Week posts and photos made you feel FOMO. I bet you’ve been lusting over some pieces as well. From printed dresses to pastel coats, Fashion Week presents the best of the best in clothing today. That includes accessories. Looking at the different shows we spotted hats, belts, and sunglasses that you can wear every day and dupes that don’t break the bank.
Chanel = Clyde Bucket Hat in Clear Vinyl
For Chanel’s collection, tweed garments in bright colors went down the runway. Blue, green, and yellow pieces were complemented by clear accessories. There were clear gloves, boots, bags, and even bucket hats. This vinyl hat from Clyde is similar to Chanel’s, minus the white trim. Wear this during the rainy weather or just as a statement accessory. Available online.
Miu Miu = Maui Jim 423 Lighthouse Sunglasses
The clothes presented by Miu Miu was a mix of feminine and masculine silhouettes. Loose-fitting vests were layered over shorts and underneath lace dresses. Aside from the bright-colored socks, what stood out were the sunglasses. They aren’t the big-framed ones we usually see. These were narrow rectangular ones, reminiscent of the ’90s.Available at Sunglass Hut, Glorietta 3.
Undercover = Forever 21 Faux Pearl Two-Finger Ring
Showcased in pairs, the models in the Undercover show sported complementary outfits. These ranged from dresses, denim jackets, and pants. The models, however, were all wearing similar accessories: giant pearl and flower statement earrings and rings. This two-finger ring from Forever 21 is a more wearable piece but still has the pearl element. Available at SM Makati.
Balenciaga = Jean & Rosz Long Plate w/ Leather Belt
If you enjoy mixing prints, check out the ensembles by Balenciaga. They put together stripes, camouflage, and plaid to name a few. To accessorize some of the outfits, models wore chain belts that had charms hanging from it. This belt from Jean & Rosz has a similar design. You can also embellish it with your own charms like Balenciaga. Available on Zalora.
Dries Van Noten = Steve Madden Pursue Boots
Dries Van Noten was a mix of pastel shades and pops of color. There were coats, jeans, flowy dresses, and skirts. Matching these outfits were a few printed boots. To make these shoes more wearable, you can pair it with a simple outfit so that colors and patterns don’t clash. Available at Shangri-La Plaza.
