Just when we thought we listed down all the uses of coconut oil, Erwan Heussaff just gave us another idea. Apparently, he has this product to thank for being his “highlighter.”
He recently posted one of his campaign photos for Sunnies Specs and a netizen complimented his glow. To which he replied, “Nope. [I don’t] wear makeup for pictures. Coconut oil!”
How exactly can you use coconut oil to get a natural glow without looking too greasy? StyleCaster suggested that it’s best to apply when it’s solidified. Just dab it on your cheekbones and brow bone, and voila, you have dewy skin.
But for those who want an extra glow, beauty vlogger Huda Kattan revealed that she uses coconut oil to set her highlighter. Then she adds another layer just because she wants to blind everyone with her cheekbone.
So thank you for the idea, Erwan. Now we know your secret to photo-ready skin.
