Kris Aquino took to Instagram Live and Facebook Live to extend a longer message to Asec. Mocha Uson. She still brought up her points in her Instagram post where she called out Mocha for disrespecting her father, the late Sen. Ninoy Aquino, in a Facebook video. But what stood out was Kris’ bravery to challenge Mocha to face her “any time, anywhere.”
“Sobra ka na eh. Yung ginawa mo… ang sinaktan mo mahal na mahal ko,” (You’re too much. What you did… the people you hurt, I love them so much) Kris said while holding back tears. “Derechahan na, babae sa babae, gusto mo ng kaaway? Ako. I’m ready. Any time, anywhere. Harapan. Gusto magdebate? Keri.” (Straight to the point, woman to woman, do you want someone to fight? Me. I’m ready, any time, anywhere. Face to face. Do you want a debate? Go.)
And our favorite: Kris said she’s willing to recreate a scene from Four Sisters and a Wedding. In case you haven’t seen it, there’s a scene where Angel Locsin grabbed Mocha by the hair and dragged her on the street. “You want na ako ikaw, at ikaw si Angel? Gawin natin para matigil ka na lang.” (You want that I would be you and you will be Angel? Let’s do it so you will stop.)
Kris said that she’s expecting criticism for “stooping down to [Mocha’s] level.” But she explains that she’s doing this out of love for her mom and dad. “If I don’t do this now, I will hate myself. I will not become the mom I want to be. Ginagawa ko ‘to kasi (I’m doing this because) I want my sons to see what I’m willing to do for my mom and my dad,” she said. “Stop doing this to two people who have never hurt you kasi patay na sila. (Because they’re dead.)”
Kris ended the live video by thanking the fans who are backing her up during this difficult time. Especially those who understand that what Mocha did is disrespectful to her family. “I have read the comments. I cannot say thank you individually but from my heart, I just want to say thank you because you have not forgotten my mother; because you respect my father.”
Now we wait for Mocha’s response to Kris’ challenge. Also, we may or may not be listing hypothetical locations where they can face each other. So watch this space for more updates on Kris vs. Mocha.
