Nothing makes us happier than seeing two women lifting each other up. Kris Aquino and Sharon Cuneta recently shared anecdotes on their renewed friendship, and the designer gifts to prove it.
It started when Kris posted a photo of the embroidered Oscar De La Renta pullover she got from her “ate” Sharon. It has a big red heart which Kris described as “symbolic because we’ve both welcomed each into each other’s hearts.” She then told the story of how she would watch Sharon’s movies Dear Heart and My Only Love when she was younger.
The next day, Sharon received Gucci fur slides and a bag from her “baby girl” Kris. She wrote in Instagram that Kris gave these to her after she opened up about her problems. “[I] woke up to a message from her saying she sent something and hoped it would make me feel better. When the packages arrived kasi not just one thing pala—my smile could’ve torn my cheeks up!” she wrote. Sharon added that she would wear the loafers as her “uniform” in the ’90s.
It’s no secret that both women love designer pieces, so these are special additions to their respective collections. Hope to see more friendship moments from Kris and Sharon in the future!
